For most of us, having a safe, secure, and comfortable home to live in is something we all long for. Such a home need not be lavish, although there is nothing wrong with lavish. This little kit is the result of study, experience, inspiration, and imagination. If you set your intention and follow these simple steps, you can create an energetically safe and comfortable home. I have done this in a little, one-bedroom apartment and our current house. Whenever we have people over to visit, we always hear the same thing, “My, your house is so comfortable.” And we do not have lavish furnishings.

We offer a Home Clearing & Energizing Kit that has the following items;

- 28 tumbled quartz stones
- one white candle
- two sage smudge sticks
- one clear quartz point

The tumbled quartz stones are going to work for you to maintain the positive energy you will be putting into your home. They have already been cleared and Reiki charged for you, but if you would like to cleanse and clear them again, by all means do so.

The white candle is to invite in the White Light of Spirit, your angels, guides, and those who love you that are now in a different vibration.

The sage smudge sticks work wonders for clearing negativity from any space of object. You will be using one of the smudge sticks to clear your spaces. This can be done for your entire home or just one room.

Quartz is the master crystal and is an excellent energy generator. It is best to place this piece in a central location of your home. Somewhere where it will be seen, looked at, and paid attention to.

The following set of protocols takes only about 15 minutes to complete. Before you get started, tidy up a bit, just to remove any disorder. You need not go crazy over this.

Here is exactly how I clear and energize my house.

- In a central part of the house, light the white candle. Either in your head or out loud, say a prayer or ask for divine protection.

- Close your eyes and take several deep breaths.

- Shake your hands and bounce lightly on the balls of your feet. This little shake out helps to remove any pent up muscle tension.

- Do a brief grounding visualization. Create a visualization that is powerful to you. I envision roots growing from my feet and going deep into the ground. As I exhale, I send energy all the way down the roots. As I inhale, I pull up the energy and let it roll up my back, roll over my head, and back down the roots as I exhale. I do this 3 times.

- Since I am a Reiki Master, I then use the 3 Usui Kanji hand positions. These are focusing devices in the Reiki tradition. The first position has your hands folded together with your 2 index fingers together. In my mind, I ask for assistance from the ascended Reiki Masters, my angles, and guides. The second position has the 2 middle fingers together. In my mind, I make the connection to my ascended helpers. I wait a few seconds, then cradle all 8 fingers together and allow Ki energy to flow into me. (You can ask for assistance from whom ever you feel comfortable asking such assistance. It can be Jesus, Buddha, Allah, Mother Mary, Mother Teresa, or your wise old grand mother. Remember that you are always surrounded by those who love you.)

Now you are ready to get started.

- Take your quartz stones and place one in each corner of each room of your home. After you have finished placing 4 stones in each room, in your mind or out loud, you can thank your quartz friends for the assistance they will be giving you. Do this for each room.

- Go back to the central place in your home and light the sage smudge stick. At first the stick will flame, but will soon smolder. With the sage stick in your dominant hand, trace around the outlines of each room in your home. As you are doing this, visualize Ki, or pure energy being projected out your arm as you draw around all of the corners of every room. Draw along the floor, ceiling, and each corner. Also draw along every window, door opening, closet, attic access, and mirror. Be sure that the sage stick is smoldering and allow the sage grass smoke to fill your space.

- As you are drawing the perimeters of each space, talk to your quartz energy workers. You can do this outloud or in your head. Either way, they will be aware of your pure intention. Thank them for entering your home. Tell them that they are welcome. Ask them for their help. Tell them what you would like them to do for you. Ask them to maintain the positive energy you are putting into the space. Ask them to hold that energy as a barrier to anything less that the energy you are putting into the space. Higher energies are, of course, always welcome.

- After you have completed drawing every room, go back to the central part of your home, where you lit the candle. Hold the quartz point in your hand and ask the it be the central power generator for all of the rest of the tumbled stones. Tell the quartz point that not only will you be paying attention and admiring it, but others who are in the house will be doing so as well. Everyone’s positive energy will be directed towards the tumbled stones in all the corners of all the rooms of your home. If you are feeling out of sorts or are being negative, ask that your quartz friends will send all the energy you need to get back in into a high state of balance.

Since your intention is for the highest and best good for everyone concerned, you will no doubt feel very good by now. You could make this much more elaborate if you choose to, But if you clearly set your intention, stay focused, and completely in the moment as you are doing this, you will perform a powerful clearing and energizing of your home. This simple little procedure will go a long way toward helping you to maintain and positive, loving environment. A happy home where you can rest and relax after a day’s work and on weekends.
